When do we normally start mowing?

Weekly Lawn Mowing commences once lawns green up and are growing at a normal rate.

This is typically the first or second week of May but may vary from year to year.

The Weekly Lawn Mowing Program runs from May 1 until October 31 and can be cancelled at anytime without penalty.
You’ll have the same day each week that will be YOUR day that we mow your lawn.

Once we have your first mow out of the way for you, you will know which day to expect us for the remainder of the season.

Before the very first mow of the season, if you feel like we have not gotten to your property soon enough or you would simply like to know which day you are scheduled for please give us a call.

Sometimes in the Spring certain lawns begin greening up more quickly than others, so with this said, don’t hesitate to call us if you feel your lawn needs to be mowed sooner or we have not gotten to you yet.

After your first visit, you can expect us each week until September.
We purposely scale back the weekly mows in September.

As alluded to above, our Weekly Mowing program is scaled back in the month of September when growing slows down.

Depending upon the weather conditions and your unique turf conditions, you will automatically be scheduled for 2 to 3 visits in September. We will surely try to do 3 visits where justifiable.

The September schedule is set at the end of August and adjusted accordingly.

As such your mowing days in September may be different than your previous weekly mowing days.

If you would like to know exactly which days you are scheduled for in September or make specific requests for September please contact us around that time, otherwise there is no action needed on your part.

If you have pets, we encourage you to contact us or look on the Client Portal for your September mowing dates such that you can clean-up prior to our arrival.
There will be 2 Fall Clean-Up Visits in October to keep your property tidy.

As mentioned above, weather-permitting, we will provide up to two Fall Clean-Up visits in October to clean up leaves and debris anywhere on your lawn. It is likely that the first visit will be sometime within the first half of October while the second visit will be in the second half of October.

Your lawn will be mowed at a proper height in preparation for the winter months ahead, too.

If weather does not allow for 2 visits, we will clean-up any leaves or debris the following Spring assuming you have renewed your services again.
