Spring Clean-up packages are currently available in Camrose and Wetaskiwin.

Our spring clean-ups are available in 3 different combinations of core aeration, power raking, and a mow and trim.  See below for the 3 spring clean-up packages we offer.

As with our Liquid Fertilizer & Weed Control, Enrich Soil Enhancer, and Weekly Lawn Mowing Programs, pricing for Spring Clean-Ups are based on your lawn square footage. We utilize satellite imaging technology to enable us to accurately and efficiently measure your lawn size. 

It should also be noted that Spring Clean-Ups are not to be confused with Fall Clean-Ups or general yard clean-ups. Spring Clean-Ups are strictly lawn care packages which do NOT include any additional yard cleanup that might be needed. Refer to General Yard Clean-Up Criteria & Rates down below.

The 3 Spring Clean-Up Packages We Offer:

1. Power Raking, Aeration, Mow and Trim

This is our most commonly booked package

  • Prices vary based on your square footage, but start at $243 plus GST.
  • Book early, the sooner the better, as spots are limited due to a narrow spring clean-up window.
  • Includes a Core Aeration, followed by Power Raking, and then a Mow & Trim of all turf to clean up the cores and thatch, plus hauling away grass clippings and cores (unless you’d like us to leave them in your compost bin or compost pile)
  • Typically about 90% of the cores are picked up with any subsequent mow of your lawn and the remaining cores are usually unnoticed and will likely breakdown on their own over a few weeks or a few more mows, and especially if it rains.
  • For those who are concerned about us removing the nutrients and organic mass that the cores provide, the vast majority of the cores are actually mulched into fine pieces with our power rake and deposited back into the soil profile of the lawn.  Most of which will not be removed by mowing, nor will it be noticeable on your lawn leaving a clean finished look, the best of both worlds if you will.  Of course, some of these organics will be removed and for those clients who are concerned about this, they may request the power raking and aeration in the reverse order, but please realize the default order (aeration, power rake, mow, trim) is provided unless you request otherwise.  
2. Power Raking, Mow and Trim
  • Prices vary based on your square footage, but start at $155 plus GST.
  • Book early, the sooner the better, as spots are limited due to a narrow spring clean-up window.
  • Includes Power Raking all turf, followed by a Mow & Trim of all turf to cleanup the thatch, plus hauling away grass clippings and cores (unless you’d like us to leave them in your compost bin or pile)
3. Aeration Only
  • Prices vary based on your square footage, but start at $99 plus GST.
  • Book early, the sooner the better, as spots are limited due to a narrow spring clean-up window.
  • Includes Core Aeration of all turf, and the cores are left on the lawn to decompose naturally. 
    • We recommend this as the cores will break down naturally and release nutrients and organic matter back into the lawn. 
    • For those who want the cores removed, we recommend our Power Rake, Aeration, Mow and Trim package as outlined above.

Additional General Yard Clean-Up Criteria & Rates

This is best explained via the following scenarios:

General Clean-up needed before we can commence mowing service

General Yard Clean-Ups are typically only available for mowing clients as our crews would need the lawn to be free of any debris before they can commence mowing.  

  • This would consist of blowing off leaves and debris from all areas and hard surfaces onto the lawn and then raking and bagging, plus a final mow and trim to leave you a clean finished look.
  • This is what is included in your 6 month contract during the month of October, however for new mowing clients we will always clean-up what’s on the lawn and any other areas prior to Fall upon request.
  • If you are a renewing mowing client and some general clean-up remains after your Fall Clean-Up, if for example leaves fall after your final service, we will always clean-up what’s on the lawn and tend to other areas upon request.
  • If you are a renewing mowing client who has missed their final Fall Clean-Up from the previous season due to adverse weather late in October we will have made note and included you for a thorough general clean-up on your first visit of the new season.
General Clean-up as a part of Spring clean up

There’s an additional charge on top of any power raking or aeration services you’re booking, if any additional clean-up work needs to first be done on your lawn in order for us to get our equipment on it and commence a Spring Clean-Up package.

  • This will be billed at a rate of $95.00 per hour/per man billed to the nearest minute with no minimum charge since we are already on site.
  • If we must mow over a few sparsely scattered leaves on your lawn to complete a Spring Clean-Up package that’s no problem.
  • Additional charges applied only in cases where leaves or other debris on your lawn may significantly slow us down.  This is typically just for times when our crews need to hand rake and bag some leaves for more than a couple minutes prior to running any of the machines.
General Clean-up as additional work to other areas apart from your lawn

On a case-by-case basis, general yard clean-ups may be booked by non-mowing clients, but are rarely offered due to our time constraints and desire to provide lawn services that are going to promote lawn health versus just a basic leaf/debris clean-up.

During Spring Clean-Ups (or Fall Clean-Ups) it’s a very busy time and is typically only a 2 to 3 week window of opportunity to provide those services.

Booking additional general yard clean-ups during those busy times may not be feasible. In those rare instances when we do offer it, you must call us to request it in advance, so that we may determine if we have the time available wherein we may be able to schedule that for you. It is typically only done for an existing long standing client every once in a while under special circumstances.

  • Any additional yard clean-up work you request that we do “beyond your lawn”, would be billed at a rate of $95.00 per hour/per man (billed down to the nearest minute), plus GST.
  • An example of this would be requesting additional general clean-up of:
    • Yard debris in your adjacent garden or flower beds
    • Leaves and twigs in your hedges or shrubs, etc.
    • Pine cones, needles, or fallen apples under your trees (* We’re essentially only blowing out leaves and twigs and debris from those areas).


Not Included

 Trimming hedges

 Pruning bushes, shrubs, or trees

 Weed-pulling or garden debris-pulling or garden clean-up services

 Any sort of landscaping or prepping of gardens or flower beds for the next season.


We specialize in lawn care and do not provide landscaping services someone might desire. However, we can definitely refer you to alliance partners of ours who do provide those services, if you desire. 

* We do not clean-up any dog or other animal droppings.  It is the clients’ responsibility to have droppings cleaned up before we arrive on-site to provide our services.

  • At our crew’s discretion, the client’s property may be skipped if we arrive on-site and can’t commence our work due to animal droppings.
  • The last thing we’d want to do is be spreading that everywhere via our equipment wheels or shoes and carrying that on to other clients’ lawns.
  • We’re simply not equipped to handle the proper sanitary and environmentally-safe disposal of animal feces. There are companies that specialize in such services, but that is not one we provide.
