Terms of Service & Policies
for Scott's Quality Lawn Care & Snow Removal Services
In a very real sense, though not legally-binding sense, we’re “partnering” with you, our client, in the provision of our numerous services.
We consider it a Partnership Agreement, you might say, between our company, Scott’s Quality Lawn Care (SQLC), and you, our valued client. This obviously implies your joint participation in obtaining the best results for the services we provide for you.
By Partnership Agreement we simply mean that our clients have a part to play in helping us help you create and maintain a lawn that may, indeed, become the envy of your neighbours, as our clients often tell us. As we’ve said, the vast majority of our clients have been with us for many years already and are very satisfied with the services they’ve received.
Terms of Service
Our Services Offering
SQLC offers its services ongoing, with lawn care in the Late Spring, Summer, and Fall Seasons, and snow removal during the Late Fall throughout Winter and Early Spring seasons. Yes, as our clients know, we oftentimes incur snow into Late April or sometimes even Early May.
By booking and/or renewing your services with us, you acknowledge that SQLC is now your current lawn care and/or snow removal services provider and you are hiring us to provide various scheduled services for you. You also agree to these Terms of Service which our Customer Service Reps will have surely communicated to you and that information is also additionally included in PDF documents attached to any service quotations we email you.
It is always up to our clients to signup (book or renew) their desired services each and every year as we do not automatically renew your services unless you have chosen to opt-in for annual Auto Renewal. Of course, any client may opt-out of Auto Renewal or cancel their services at any time for whatever their reasons, without any problem whatsoever. Opting-in or out as well as cancellation is best facilitated with a phone call to our office or a detailed email, but NOT by only leaving us a voicemail message.
Regarding our 100% Quality Service Guarantee
In terms of our 100% Quality Service Guarantee, there are some terms and conditions you need to be aware of
*Given that lawns require ongoing maintenance and care, beyond the services we provide for you, it’s important if not crucial that you do your part to keep your lawn in optimum health. It goes without saying that nature has a way of looking after itself “up to a point”, but sometimes our expectations of what we want our lawns to look like aren’t exactly how the climate or soil conditions may support our desires, and hence there are some things we all may need to do to maintain a healthy lawn and manage any problem issues that might ever occur. Nature can sometimes work for us or sometimes, seemingly against us. Surprise drought conditions or even extended bouts of excessive rain are prime examples of that.
As we’ve always said, “We can work very well together”, us doing our part and you doing your part. The following terms govern our joint relationship.
Throughout this website, we’ve informed you of exactly what our services are and how we purvey them. We’ve provided you with ample information to let you know the kind of Company and Team we are and how we’re here for you and your lawn care as well as your snow removal needs.
All of our services’ pricing is based on the estimated square footage of the lawn areas to be serviced, or the property areas requiring snow removal.
For lawn care services: We utilize state of the art satellite imaging technology enabling us to accurately measure the total lawn areas to be serviced. This is a tremendous cost and time savings for both you and us as we don’t need to send anybody onsite to do any time-consuming physical measuring, which in the case of measuring thousands of clients’ lawns would require hiring a lot more staff and the costs associated with that.
For snow removal: Satellite imaging obviously wouldn’t help as it’s not going to show what’s below the snow, so we send our Snow Removal Services Manager onsite to determine and/or confirm the areas you want snow removed from, how much time is estimated to do so, where the removed snow can be deposited, etc., and prices are quoted accordingly.
* All pricing quotes for all of our services are subject to verification and confirmation of your agreement to the quoted prices before proceeding with any services. Of course, if you are ever unsure or questioning your lawn size or have perhaps done some new landscaping or made other changes, subtractions or additions to the lawn square footage, call us and we’ll adjust any pricing accordingly to reflect those changes. SQLC is only liable to treat the measured lawn area or the snow removal areas corresponding to the prices quoted and agreed to.
Please be sure that you’ve read our 100% Quality Service Guarantee webpage
- For us, our commitment to our clients is our word, our integrity, and not just vain promises.
- We work with you to ensure that you have a healthy lush green lawn that meets your expectations in accordance with what our services are capable of facilitating.
- Likewise in the winter months, we want to ensure that our snow removal services meet your desires as specified by your acceptance and agreement with your Snow Removal quote you received from us.
*We do what we promise so therefore, for any of our services, we will thoroughly and properly render them as specified. If we do not perform any agreed-to lawn care service professionally and as specified, we will, at our earliest determination, re-apply that service at no additional charge to you. Regardless, if you are not satisfied with any service we have provided you, you will not be charged for it. Our desire and commitment is to do whatever we can to give you that healthy lawn as promised in accordance with the service(s) you purchased. The same applies to our snow removal services during the winter.
PLEASE NOTE: It might seem that the above promise could be taken advantage of wherein, for example, a client books their services, gets a great job done for them, and then simply decides that it’s not good enough for them, even though it actually has created a very healthy lawn for them. Everybody has their own definition of what meets their own standards. We acknowledge that and accept that there may be the odd very rare client who we simply cannot satisfy no matter what, and as such, they may cancel at anytime and we will refund their last service charge and part company in that case, so to speak. Fortunately, our record for client satisfaction is enviable and the greatest testimony for that is how we’re continuing to grow every year. As we’ve said before, we don’t require a sales force as our clients’ “word of mouth” fuels our ongoing growth.
However, let it be understood that the above promise and guarantee is based on the understanding that lawns are a collection of living organisms.
- They require time to grow and mature, and measures are regularly required to maintain their optimum health… These will require your own personal effort in our joint partnership.
- As such, if you’ve accepted any service quote from us and we provide those services to you, it is understood that you have agreed to your own part and responsibilities in our joint relationship.
- It would be great if any lawn care company could offer a “spray this once” or “do this once” treatment and your lawn will magically be perfect thereafter without any further human intervention… But we all know that doesn’t exist anywhere, nor ever will. There are many variables that can affect a lawn’s health, such as the ever-changing weather and climate conditions that may be beyond our control or your control.
- The reality is, everyone’s lawns are different, different soils under them, and perhaps different lawn care practices or different effort and attention paid to the care of one’s lawn.
- Nothing is necessarily immediate when it comes to lawn care; nothing is a magical one-time immediate solution or approach.
We say the above to say that… We cannot make guarantees for what may be an unreasonable expectation. Hence why we educate our clients so that they understand how lawn care works and what is crucial in its care.
- Even for something seemingly as simple as watering, there are best practices for how to do that most effectively for your lawn.
- For example, if a client never waters their lawn, and drought conditions arise which contribute to their lawn’s worsening condition, we cannot guarantee that it’s still going to look lush, green and healthy as ever. The client, understandably, needs to properly water their lawn. Mother Nature’s rains may be enough sometimes, but at other times, the client will have to do their ongoing part, too.
The facts are, growth takes time. Maintaining ongoing turf healthiness takes time. This is to be understood.
- Depending upon the condition of one’s lawn upon our being hired to provide services, and the level of ongoing care you are contributing, it may take some weeks, months or even more than a year of growing and routine periodic maintenance and treatments to get a lawn in optimum condition or free of any problems or issues.
- That being said, it’s very likely that with any service performed you will begin to see results sooner than much later, unless your lawn has some inherent serious problems, ongoing fungal issues, or has been lacking proper maintenance and care for a very long time already. Then, it’s naturally going to take longer to get it back to optimum health.
- Depending upon the services, most of our clients notice improvements within days of our treatments.
Further to the above, some of our lawn care treatments may require “watering-in” after the application.
- These instructions are always included with your services quotation as well as provided on the invoice copy left in each client’s mailbox (or between their front doors) once the service is provided.
- Our Customer Service Reps would surely have discussed this with each client while explaining our services offering upfront, too.
- Failure to follow watering instructions may incur potential problems or limit obtaining the best results and thereby void applicable guarantees.
- Similarly, as would have been explained by our Customer Service Reps, as well as information provided along with all quotations, the timing for treatments is key… and we know what works best with all our services.
We can guarantee our services when rendered as per our instructions and the clients’ adherence to those instructions.
PLEASE NOTE: Though some lawn care companies may dare to promise a perfect weed-free lawn that never will have a problem, that reality simply doesn’t exist in the real world, even with constant routine care and maintenance.
- Soil and climate conditions can change and challenge what we’re all trying to accomplish…
- eeds will occasionally arise. They don’t like competition from healthy lawns and aren’t apt to rear their heads there very much, but if your lawn is occasionally struggling, stressed, or simply lacking enough nutrients and/or the proper watering it may need, the weeds will surely encroach.
- Companies should never promise what they can’t control or deliver 100% of the time. They’d be finding that reality is not quite so simple, especially not with what seems to be ever-increasing evidence of climate change to whatever degree, which is beginning to impact how lawns normally react to these changes from what used to be their predictable norms.
We don’t say any of the above as any excuse but only as a reminder that some things are beyond yours or our control. That being said, at Scott’s Quality Lawn Care, we will most assuredly endeavour to do what we can to compensate for and/or overcome or remediate for any such lawn care issues that may ever arise. With proper watering, mowing, routine preventative maintenance, and your ongoing participation in our joint partnership, we’ll surely do our part to give you a lawn that’s not only lush, green and healthy but one that may stand out amongst your neighbours’ lawns unless of course, they’re also our satisfied clients, with similarly great looking lawns.
Sorry, I think we may have caused some competition in the neighbourhoods… LOL!
We guarantee working with you to have a great lawn!
The only time our 100% Quality Service Guarantee will NOT apply and/or may be voided is if your account is NOT kept in good standing:
- We understand that due to whatever circumstances, a client might perhaps occasionally incur a personal or financial problem wherein they have outstanding unpaid invoices.
- It is their responsibility to ensure they have contacted us and made arrangements to clear up the problem. We will surely have followed up with them about such issues, too.
- At our discretion, depending upon the nature of the problem, services may or may not be ceased and further actions taken.
- Understandably, during this time, depending upon how the client is looking after their lawn or not, our services guarantee may or may not apply, too.
- Hopefully, client accounts are kept in good standing to avoid such issues, or if any client is having some temporary issues, that they’ve made arrangements to resolve, they are still looking after their lawn as best as they can in the interim.
You do NOT follow the advice, instructions, and ongoing guidance or recommendations provided by our Customer Service Reps or Lawn Care Techs.
- This information is always amply discussed upfront with any prospective client or as a reminder with existing clients. It is also automatically included with all service quotations.
- And of course, it is freely offered on our website so that our clients may always have the answers they need. Sometimes it’s little more than a reminder regarding deep-watering or about how to preventively address any potential fungal issue that may be trying to arise. Or sometimes it may be a recommendation for further services to address a particular more serious lawn issue.
Further to the above, it’s crucial that you follow our deep-watering instructions routinely and consistently throughout the growing season, and adjust as we may recommend, and as we do inform all our clients, for any drought conditions, etc. The same applies to mowing frequency and lawn height, if you’re looking after it yourself.
- If you’re in doubt as to any lawn care practice you may be doing yourself, don’t hesitate to call us.
- Be sure about what you’re doing.
- Don’t make any assumptions, nor presume that what the neighbour next door or across the street does is what you should also do…
- Simply give us a quick call and we can confirm for you what is the best thing to do for your lawn.
- If you do NOT follow our advice and recommendations or instructions, your lawn may not garner the results you desire and it may incur other subsequent issues, challenges or problems.
- Always remember that everyone’s lawns are different and may not all respond the exact same way.
- Depending what’s going on with it, there may be other measures we may recommend be followed or other services be provided.
- Additionally, it may be that more applications or treatments may be required than what you have only booked.
The choice will always be the client’s but SQLC, understandably, can’t guarantee 100% success on a lawn wherein the client doesn’t heed our advice.
SQLC Limit of Liability and Disclaimer of Warranties
It should be understood and agreed that “timing is everything” in a not-too-long growing season, and not everything in terms of lawn improvements and healthiness can always happen as fast as we may want it to.
- Many lawn care practices are as preventative measures, too, as all lawns may have their moments or times when an unexpected challenge or surprise problem, perhaps a fungal issue appears.
- You may not see the immediate benefits of those preventative measures but they are doing what they are supposed to do. Usually, everything can be remediated and brought back to good health with the proper measures and heeded instructions as to proper and timely care.
As mentioned earlier, it should be understood and agreed that there are no “spray this once” or “do this once” magic solutions that will make your lawn instantly healthy and stay that way forever.
- Much can be done to grant you that but it takes our joint continual efforts to make it so.
- If our SQLC Team only does its part while you do NOT do yours, it may negate our best efforts and you may not obtain the results you desire.
To the fullest extent permitted by Canadian law, SQLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Our liability for any claim shall be strictly limited to the cost of the most recent service performed.
- SQLC does not guarantee 100% ongoing weed control and is not responsible for damage that may ever be caused by animals, weather, or client neglect nor improper lawn care practices by clients.
- That being said, if some harm or damage to anything on your property may ever be caused by any of our SQLC Team or SQLC equipment whilst rendering our services, and it’s clearly proven to be our doing, we will of course pay to fix or replace whatever may be damaged.
It’s always your choice, but we highly recommend continuous participation in scheduled lawn care treatments.
- Some clients may choose to book fewer treatments or skip a year for whatever their reasons, but our guarantees are for the year in question, the current season. A client who skips too many treatments or scheduled services beyond what is recommended, or perhaps comes back to us a year or more later claiming their lawn isn’t that great anymore, is clearly not covered by our 100% Quality Service Guarantee.
- Common-sense comes into play here, obviously. Understandably, skipping recommended treatments or pausing services may void service guarantees. If it’s not negatively affecting your lawn, count yourself fortunate that it hasn’t been detrimental for your lawn. But if it’s showing signs of poorer health, you’re causing your own problems and may, indeed, be not only not meeting your preferred expectations, but voiding your guarantee.
- It’s true that once your lawn is in optimum condition it may not require quite as much direct continual care. But if you stop for awhile with routine treatments and proper practices, it’s going to wane and you’ll soon enough see how it’s not looking quite as nice as it once used to, or you may start encountering some lawn issues or even temporary fungal diseases you never used to.
- Just remember that when it comes to lawn care, you get what you put into it in terms of effort, proper practices and those product treatments. You want good results. Lawns always need a constant supply of good nutrients, proper deep-watering, and enough sun, and yet not too much sun or heat that you’re experiencing drought conditions to the point that your lawn is near dying.
Except as expressly stated in this Partnership Agreement, SQLC makes no guarantees or warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Guaranteed Right to Change or Cancel Services
You may change or cancel services at any time by speaking to one of our Customer Service Reps, preferably by phone, or by sending written notice via email.
- Be sure enough detail has been included so that we are absolutely clear as to what it is you are changing or cancelling and when that is to take effect, as well as any other particulars.
- A phone call is always preferred to ensure we have all the information we require.
- You can not add, modify or cancel services by only leaving a voicemail.
- It does us little good for you to leave us a too-brief voicemail message, saying… “Please cancel my services”… Clearly that’s not enough information and we’d have all kinds of questions we need answers for before we can cancel your services.... so please call us.
- Cancellation is only effective once confirmed by SQLC.
- Be sure to follow up with us if you have not received confirmation by the next morning.
WE WILL ALWAYS DO OUR BEST AND ALWAYS WORK HARD TO MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS AND ENSURE YOU ARE SATISFIED WITH OUR SERVICES
THE BOTTOM-LINE IS THIS: If for some reason you are not satisfied, we will fix it as soon as possible, but be sure you’ve let us know, as soon as possible, too.
- For example, it does you and us no good to call back at the end of the season or the following year mentioning something you may be unhappy about or have questions about that took place at the beginning of the previous Spring…
- Between that occurrence and when you actually call us, all kinds of other variables may have come into play over time that may preclude us from being able to confirm exactly what was the problem or the lawn issue you may have been unhappy about.
- We surely don’t want to start guessing or presuming anything either. Was it due to something we did or didn’t do or was it due to umpteen dozen other potential things that may have happened during that time???
- ALWAYS call us immediately. Perhaps wait a few days first to confirm if you have an actual problem or not, but don’t let weeks or months go by before reaching out to us.
Of course, if you should decide to cancel any of our services at any time, you will only need to pay for the services you received up to the day the cancellation request is confirmed as received by us.
- In the case of our mowing or snow removal contracts, your monthly charges would be pro-rated to the date of confirmed cancellation.
- If you cancel services you had already prepaid for, let us know if you would like to receive either a credit on your account, which you may use toward future services or next year, or if preferred, we can issue a refund to you as per your original payment method. Either is fine, but you would need to let us know asap via a phone call.
Survival of Terms
As per applicable laws, certain provisions of this agreement, by their nature, are intended to survive termination of service. These include, but are not limited to, payment obligations, guarantee and warranty disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution terms. These shall remain in full effect even after your service relationship with SQLC ceases.
Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
Modifications to Terms
SQLC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time to reflect changes in our services, technology, legal requirements, or business practices. Any such changes will be posted on our website on this page and will take effect upon being posted. Clients will be notified of any changes through their account, email, or periodic communications. Your continued use of SQLC’s services after such changes have been posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
Entire Agreement
These Terms of Service represent the entire agreement between SQLC and the client. No verbal or other representations are binding unless made in writing and confirmed by Scott’s Quality Lawn Care.
Privacy Policy
Scott’s Quality Lawn Care is committed to protecting the privacy and security of our clients’ and our website users' personal information. This applies not only to security measures we have in place within our Company and with regards to any and all software we may use, but also on this website.
To better protect your privacy, we have instituted the security and privacy practices outlined in this policy. The following explains our information practices and how we collect, store, use and disclose your personal and non-personal information, and the policies and practices we have put in place to protect that information.
We also comply with applicable Canadian data protection laws, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Throughout this policy, let it be understood that SQLC, and the terms, the Company, We, us, and our, refer to our business, Scott’s Quality Lawn Care.
When the term partner is mentioned, it may refer to a direct business relationship we may have with a closely-related third party, or it may refer to an indirect informal relationship we may have with a third party offering information or services that may be relevant and of potential interest to our clients and website visitors, but there may be no financial interaction or relationship between us and that third party.
We make every reasonable and timely effort to ensure accuracy of information on our website, but cannot be held legally liable for unintended errors, temporarily outdated content, or omissions. Any website for a rapidly growing company is always to some degree “a work in progress” being updated as often as may be required as the Company grows and its market evolves.
Commitment to the Security of your Information
SQLC has taken appropriate technical and organizational security measures against loss or unlawful processing of your personal data.
We have also partnered with a third party, Service Autopilot, as our main cloud-based software service provider and as such most of our client information is on their secure servers. They utilize state of the art, industry-wide and standard commercial security practices such as encryption, firewalls and SSL (Secure Socket Layers) as well as physical safeguards of the locations where data are stored. For more detailed information, you may of course contact them.
However, as a caveat… and we would state this about any business nowadays – that as effective as today’s security technologies may be, no security system may be impenetrable. We, of course can’t, and nobody can... 100% guarantee that information you supply to anybody anywhere can’t be intercepted while being transmitted.
Though we have full confidence in our own as well as Service Autopilot’s data security measures and practices, any transmission of information by you to us and us to them is at your own risk. It’s not unreasonable to say that we all take lots for granted nowadays, but even dealing with any bank or retailers processing your credit card carries a degree of risk, as we all know, too.
It would be foolhardy and irresponsible to not mention the potential risks involved in the world we live in nowadays. Suffice it to say, without wanting to induce any undue or unwarranted fear, and generally-speaking, it’s a constant battle being waged by all businesses directly or indirectly with nefarious parties and hackers, fraudsters, etc. All that anyone or any business can do, in any industry throughout the entire world, is their utmost to stay abreast of and utilizing the latest in data security technologies. This in great part, is why we’ve chosen to partner with Service Autopilot as our cloud-based business partner that specialize in secure integrated software solutions for the lawn care industry.
Consent
Your use of our website, constitutes acceptance of and agreement with this Privacy Policy. If you do not accept this Privacy Policy, then we ask you to not use our Website or our Services. Your consent to our use of your personal information can, of course, be withdrawn at any time should you so desire.
By providing your name, phone number and email address, or any other personal information, you confirm it belongs to you and are thereby consenting to receive communication from SQLC via phone, text, email, or automated means related to appointments, service updates, service-related announcements and notifications, news and special sales offers and promotions, etc.. We will use your contact details to communicate with you in response to your inquiries and services follow-ups, etc. If you do not want to receive any of the above particular types of communications from us, you may ¹click the unsubscribe link in the respective email; ²email us at info@scottsqualitylawncare.ca with “Unsubscribe Promotional Offers” in the subject line; or ³simply call Customer Service at (780) 678-6450.
Information SQLC Collects and How It Is Used
We use your personal information to provide you with our services, to administer our client databases, to communicate with you and respond to your inquiries, for identification and authentication purposes and for service improvement. More specifically, SQLC collects certain information to enable you to take full advantage of our service offerings when you register at our site, book our services, participate in our surveys, take advantage of sales and marketing promotions, or otherwise communicate with us.
You may also browse through most of this website without giving any information about yourself. But sometimes we do require some information to quote and/or provide services that you request, and this privacy policy explains data collection and use in those situations.
We will ask you when we need information that personally identifies you. Generally, this information is requested when you are requesting a free quote, booking services, paying your bill, registering for e-mail newsletters, etc. Personal information collected is typically limited to client name, address, phone #, e-mail address, and in some cases credit card information, but may include other information when needed to provide the service you requested. Some of this pertains more so to clients logging in to the Client Portal and the customer services available there, as opposed to the main website itself.
Information Retention:
SQLC will retain your personal information for only the period of time which is reasonable under the circumstances.
Normally, we will retain your information until you cancel your SQLC account and ask us to remove your information. However, sometimes clients may cease their relationship with us as they may move or whatever may be their reasons, and if they haven’t requested it, we may retain their information until their SQLC account has been inactive for 3 years. The reason for doing this is that it’s not uncommon for previous clients to return to us after moving and re-activate their services again. This measure retains their prior transaction and business relationship history, etc., and of course, we will update any contact information they provide at that time. All other normal client correspondence would have been ceased upon the account being originally cancelled. If you wish to cancel your SQLC account for any reason, please contact us at (780) 678-6450.
Disclosure Of Information To Outside Parties:
Firstly, let it be said, SQLC will not sell, divulge, or share your personal information with any third party to enable them to market their products or services. We will only use it for personal contact with you and to send pertinent information on an irregular or periodic basis as it pertains to the services you have expressed interest in or booked with us.
Under certain circumstances, SQLC will disclose your personal information:
- When upon our special request, for your benefit, you have consented to the disclosure;
- When we are required or authorized by law to do so, for example if a court issues a subpoena;
- Similarly, to the extent that this is legally required, or necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims and legal process;
- Or in the event of an emergency pertaining to your health and/or safety;
- Or where we’ve engaged a third party payment processor and therefore it’s necessary to establish or collect fees;
- Or if the information is already publicly known.
Related to the above, SQLC may employ third party companies or individuals to facilitate or provide a directly-related service on our behalf for you. These are referrals only and in such case only your name and phone number (or email if preferred) would be provided but only with your consent. For any further communications or dealings with these third party service providers, that would be between you and the respective party and has nothing else to do with SQLC, unless it subsequently resulted in us being asked to provide further services to the mutual client.
Additionally, we may employ third party companies or individuals to perform website-related services (e.g., without limitation, maintenance services, database management, SEO services, web analytics and improvement of the website's features, etc.) or to assist us in analyzing how our diverse services are used. These third parties would have access to your personal information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are contractually bound not to disclose or use it for any other purpose. These service providers store information in Canada and accordingly your personal information may be available to Canadian governments or agencies under a lawful order, irrespective of the safeguards we have put in place for the protection of your personal information.
Use Of Cookies:
Our SQLC website uses cookies, a technology that stores a small text file of information on your computer or mobile device to enable various features on our website, personalize content, etc., during your visit. Cookies are used for demographic tracking, retention of user login details, and to help us deliver a customized experience tailored to your browsing habits.
SQLC uses your personal information in an anonymized and aggregated form to closely monitor which pages of our website are most frequently visited and which features of the services we offer are used most, and to analyze usage patterns and to determine where we should offer or focus our services. When you visit our website, we process technical data such as your IP address, visited webpages, the internet browser you use, your previous/next visited websites and the duration of a visit/session to enable us to deliver the functionalities of this website.
We may also use the non-personally identifiable information that we collect in the aggregate to analyze usage and to improve the design and content of our website. As such, SQLC may provide aggregate statistics about our clients, sales, traffic patterns, and related website browsing information to reputable third-party vendors, partners, service providers, such as SEO service providers mentioned above, or to the press. These aggregate statistics would contain only non-personally identifiable information.
For full use of all our website features your browser options must be set to “accept cookies”. If you disable certain cookies, please note that some parts of our website may not function properly. These settings may be lost and require reconfiguration if you delete your cookies.
Processing Payments And Your Credit Card Information:
Please note that your credit card information is not stored on our computers. It resides directly with our very secure payment processor, Clearent LLC. They have security and data protection measures in place that would normally exceed what a typical business may offer via their own supposedly-secure servers and IT data security measures. What that means is, even if someone was to try to maliciously gain access to our computers, there’s no personal financial information that they’re able to access. Even our own office staff are unable to edit your credit card if you had a different expiry date, for example. All we see is the last 4 digits and expiry date… We have no direct access to any other card information. We literally would have to re-enter it afresh which then automatically re-sends that to our payment processor. We believe this to be a much safer and more secure way to handle credit card information and to prevent fraud than storing it exclusively on one’s own in-house computers and servers.
Your Rights And Access To Your Personal Information
You have a right to access and make corrections at any time to personal information that you’ve provided us. We will provide you with the means to ensure that your personal information is correct and current. You may review and update this information at any time. If you have questions about your personal information, or have any questions about our personal information handling practices, please contact us via phone at (780) 678-6450.
Information Partners May Collect:
Our website may contain links to other websites whose information privacy practices may be different than ours. We are not responsible for the practices employed by any of those websites, including the information or content contained within them. You should consult the other sites' privacy policies, as we have no control over information that you may submit or that the third parties may collect on their own sites.
We may occasionally offer promotions or content that is sponsored by, or co-branded with, identified third parties. By virtue of these relationships, these third parties may obtain personally identifiable information that you submit. SQLC has no control over the third party's use of this information. Additionally, in some cases, we may offer links to social media platforms (like Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly known as Twitter) and YouTube) that enable you to easily connect with us or share information on social media. Any content you post via these social media pages is subject to the terms of use and privacy notices for those platforms.
Changes To Our Privacy Policy:
We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes to our information practices. Any changes will be posted on this page. We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on our privacy practices. Thank you for your trust,
