Scott’s Quality Lawn Care has been doing snow removal since 2014
When our crews are dispatched in the early morning after an overnight snowfall or in the late morning after a morning snow fall, we have a 99.8% route completion rate which translates into a 99.9% client completion rate. Although this is not perfect, we have taken the necessary measures to make sure that we give ourselves the best chance of completing our routes on time.
We guarantee that we will get to you the next day if we experience an overnight snowfall or that same day if we experience a morning snowfall.
| If a snowfall is experienced overnight: | We guarantee that we will have your snow removal taken care of the next day. If there is snow on the ground in the morning, our crews will be dispatched to clear snow on your property that same day. |
| If a snowfall begins in the early morning: | We guarantee that we will have your snow removal taken care of on the same day. |
| If a snow fall is experienced in the afternoon: | It is highly likely that we will have your snow removal taken care of by nighttime. However, there is a chance that we may have to wait until the following day if the snow fall is heavy and we aren’t able to complete our route by nighttime. |
| If it is just a light snowfall that is going to continue into the evening: | We may elect to wait until the following morning to clear all the snow at once, instead of going out twice. |
Just to keep our snow clearing schedule fair for everyone
The order in which we serve our residential clients will be different each time. This prevents the same clients from always getting served first and the same clients always getting served last.
If you have a one-off special request such as, for example, needing your snow cleared by 11:00 am on a particular day for a particular reason, you may call us and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request. However, we may not be able to guarantee it depending upon weather conditions, etc.
Clients should not expect more than one snow removal visit per day
That is, unless a special circumstance or request arises, in which case we will do our best to accommodate your needs. In a continuous snow event, we will go out once per day and service each client until the snow finally stops. In this case, we will stay with the same route order each day until the snow stops. We will then switch our route order on the next snow day.
*In the event of a heavy snowfall it will, understandably, take us longer to complete our routes
Timing largely depends on where you happen to be on our route for the day in question, but it is not unusual for us to service you in the evening if you happen to be later on our route after/during a heavy snowfall event. These types of snow events usually only happen anywhere from 0 to 3 times per season in our experience. Keep in mind this type of situation would only arise if you happened to be one of the final clients on our route for the day as we do rotate our routes each snow day.
*The City of Camrose by-law states that noise being made to do work (such as snow removal or lawn care in our case) is permitted between the hours of 7 am and 11 pm.
We believe that 11 pm is somewhat late. As a result, our policy is that we do not use any gas-powered equipment on residential properties until 7 am and if we end up working into the evening, we will shut things down by 8:30 to 9 pm. As mentioned previously, there will also be no snow removal on Christmas Day, December 25, however we will go out on the 26th and take care of any snow removal that has not already been done.
