Mowing... A Love/Hate Relationship?
People are very busy these days. We all value our free time, too, and we like to make the best and most enjoyable times of our free time. How many of us come home tired from an exhausting day of work and then remember that we’ve got our overgrown lawn to mow?
Or we procrastinate, thinking/hoping we can maybe leave it till the weekend, but then we remember we already have other plans for this weekend.
Some of us have more free time, or perhaps you’re retired and you love doing your own mowing, and that’s great exercise, too… You love looking after your yard and you’re content that maintaining and mowing a beautiful lawn is part of what’s required.
If we’re to judge by the ever-increasing number of new mowing clients that sign up with us each and every year, it seems pretty clear that many of us have decided we could use some help or prefer someone else to mow our lawn for us… and that’s okay. Many of our clients just love the quality of the cut and this is why they utilize our mowing service.
Some of us are older, too, and the big yard we have has more lawn to be mowed than we can easily handle by ourselves… Perhaps taking care of our lawn has become more strenuous than we want, or we simply can’t take care of things on our own any longer. We may have loved doing it all when we were younger but though our mind may still be willing, our body may be telling us otherwise as we get older and wiser. Sound familiar to anybody?

Don’t think you need service weekly?
No problem, you may simply give us a heads up if you feel the need to skip your service when your mowing day approaches. Our program accounts for the fact that clients may need to skip a service here and there. [More details down below]
Do you prefer mulching and leaving the clipped grass behind or us bagging it and hauling it away?
Let us know what you prefer. It is healthiest for a lawn to leave the clippings on it, commonly referred to as mulching. Our mowers have high speed mulch blades and are properly sharpened to leave a clean cut, but sometimes mulching is not always the best option. We would typically mulch lawns under three conditions.
- If mulching leaves anything less than a clean beautiful mow - We will not leave any clumps or make any mess.
- If you do not object to mulching.
- You do not have weeds that could spread to other areas of your lawn.
If one or more of the above three do NOT apply then we will bag and haul away the clippings.
