Is One Application Enough to Kill My Weeds?
For a healthy lawn, 1 application of our Fertilizer & Weed Control spray may be enough to kill any already existing broadleaf weeds.
- This depends on numerous factors, the greatest of which is how healthy your lawn is to begin with.
- A healthy, thick, deep-rooted, lush green lawn isn’t apt to spare any room for weeds to grow… Dandelions, for instance, don’t like competition, and yet, you’ll inevitably see them thriving in thinner lawns where there’s less healthy grass to compete with.
For the average lawn, 1 application may not be enough
- As we caution new clients, don’t expect miracles in 1 application especially if your lawn isn’t in great shape to begin with, and/or you have a considerable amount of dandelions or other weeds that have already taken over your turf, or you have neighbors all around you with dandelions galore.
It’s entirely up to you as to how many applications you choose
- Most of our clients sign up for 4 applications per year and continue to do so every year.
- They are the ones who tell us that their lawns are “the envy of their neighbours” on their street.
- They could have a dandelion-infested next door neighbour’s lawn but their own lawn is beautiful and weed-free. That’s what proper lawn care can do for your yard.
